Patagonia Health helps Customers Prepare for Security Risk Assessments

Security Risk Assessments

According to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Security Rule all covered entities are required to conduct a security risk assessment of their agency.  This is to insure all protected Health Information remains, well, protected.

Health departments can now lean on their EHR vendor, Patagonia Health for help.  Through an agreement with EHR 2.0 as a third party service provider of Security Risk Analysis, Patagonia Health offers SRA preferred services to its clients.  Each agency would be contracting with EHR 2.0 directly, but with the advantage of the strong relationship between EHR 2.0 and Patagonia Health.

As part of the Patagonia Health educational webinar series, EHR 2.0 will be presenting a webinar titled “Conducting a Security Risk Assessment – What to Expect” August 15th and August 18, 2017.  Register here to learn more.
