Reduce Costs and Increase Productivity with Convenient Paperless Integrated Electronic Fax

Electronic Fax via EHR

Patagonia Health recently rolled out its enhanced Electronic Fax (eFax) option, an integrated part of the Electronic Health Records (EHR) software that allows the user to receive and send faxes directly from within the Patagonia Health EHR.

Faxes are sent via a unique fax number provided to the agency by Patagonia Health.  Inbound faxes such as hospital discharge papers are received as email attachments, and can be easily filed directly into patient’s EHR chart without scanning.  Inbound junk faxes can simply be deleted – no more wasted fax paper!

Outbound faxes, such as referral letters can be sent directly from the EHR without printing, making it easier than ever, which ultimately increases clinic’s staff’s productivity.  As well, the system saves the fax information (name, fax number, etc.) for the community providers making it even easier to send referral letters, medical records, or information directly from the EHR system.

This convenient paperless process reduces paper and ink costs and increases staff productivity.  It reduces waste from junk faxes. And best of all has unlimited incoming and outgoing faxes; no per fax/page charges.  To learn more about our new eFax feature, please contact us!
