Patagonia Health Hires Amos Slaymaker as VP of Sales
Patagonia Health, Inc., a leading supplier of Electronic Health Record (EHR) solutions to the Public Health and Behavioral Health markets, recently hired Amos Slaymaker to lead the company’s growth. He has also been entrusted to identify strategic partnership opportunities and new markets where Patagonia Health can make a positive impact. The appointment of a senior sales leader comes at a time when Patagonia Health is experiencing rapid growth as the adoption of its cloud-based software as a service EHR system accelerates in the Public Health and Behavioral Health markets.
“As we close in on our first 10 years in business, with a customer base from coast to coast, we are very excited about Amos’ plans for our sales efforts,” said Ashok Mathur, CEO and co-founder at Patagonia Health. “Amos has a proven history building sales organizations and delivering results in a manner aligned with one of our core missions – 100% customer reference-ability. He is a driven professional capable of growing sales in an ethical and solutions-oriented manner.”
“Sales sets the tone for how Patagonia Health builds relationships with customers,” said Slaymaker. “We will continue to be the trusted advisors Public Health Departments, and others, turn to for assistance evaluating Electronic Health Records solutions. With Patagonia Health’s commitment to providing easy-to-use services and 100% customer reference-ability, I am thrilled at our prospects for the future. Furthermore, I am fully confident in our ability to meet, and exceed, our projections over the next three to five years.”
Mr. Slaymaker brings a broad range of experience to his position at Patagonia Health, including direct B2B sales, international sales, and Tier 1 and Tier 2 channel sales. Most recently he served in executive roles at Bivarus (VP of Sales & Business Development) and GFI Software (Director of Sales, Americas), as well as sales leadership roles at Allscripts, IDEXX Laboratories, and Medfusion. In his last venture at Bivarus, Inc., Mr. Slaymaker rapidly turned the startup into a market disruptor in the real-time patient experience space. He successfully exited the company following its acquisition by Press Ganey Associates.
