Integrating Contactless Patient Experience Capabilities

Contactless Patient Registration solution accurately collects patient information for the clinical visit and integrates the data with the Patagonia Health EHR. The Patagonia Health Electronic Health Record EHR includes a federally certified Patient Portal in the base offering of the product. As part of providing Patient Self-Service Scheduling, Patagonia Health’s Patient Portal offers the following features and functionalities:

Self-service scheduling of appointments: Patients will be able to log-in to the Patient Portal and select the Date, Time, Location and Provider for an appointment. Patients will be able to reschedule and cancel an existing appointment using the self-service functionality.

Forms: As part of the Self-Service Check-In process, Patients can complete the necessary forms (Demographics, Consents, HIPAA, Declaration of Income and Assessments/Pre-Screenings) on their personal devices and any necessary Patient signatures will be collected.

Check-in: Patients can use any device – desktop, mobile or tablet – to check-in prior to arriving at the clinic or on a designated Kiosk at the time of arrival. The Self-Service Scheduling feature will remind the Patients before the scheduled appointment to start the self-service check-in process and prompts patient to complete any necessary forms. The Health Department will be able to configure the time and interval of the self-service check-in reminders.

Scan Documents: Patients will be able to scan documents such as insurance cards, driver’s license and medical history documents to populate the patient demographics and medical records.

Payments: Patients can view outstanding balance and pay for any deductibles or co-pays via credit card securely through the Patient Portal online payment system.
