Scot Wingo’s List of Triangle “Tweeners” has been updated for 2016. With many changes to the list of most promising RTP tech companies, Patagonia Health was a new addition.
 
But what is a “tweener”, and what is the purpose of the list? A tweener is a company (generally tech) that is in between; no longer a startup but not yet late stage. The list is part of a guide to the tech community to help tech execs that are relocating to the Triangle find a great company to join. The list is developed by Scot Wingo, Executive Chairman, Channel Advisor, and author of the “Scot’s Guide to the Triangle Startup Ecosystem”. Scot is an industry thought leader, blogger, and speaker and winner of numerous awards including Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year and Triangle Business Journal’s Businessperson of the Year.
 
Patagonia Health Co-Founder and CEO, Ashok Mathur has been quite active in the startup community for many years as he was developing a new cloud and apps-based electronic health record software along with Co-founder and CTO, Abhi Muthiyan.
