New EHR Apps for Local Health Departments – Demos at NCPHA

Patagonia Health to engage with NCPHA audience with encore presentations at the 2014 NCPHA conference.

 

The NCPHA conference is quickly approaching! This year’s conference will be held September 17-19, 2014 at the Hilton Wilmington Riverside.

Speaking Engagements

Patagonia Health is a proud sponsor of NCPHA and will be presenting EHR Best Practices and New Apps at the breakfast gathering on Wednesday, September 17th from 7:15 – 8:00 in the Cape Fear Ballroom. Presenters include Ashok Mathur, CEO and Co-founder of Patagonia Health, Dr. Cardra Burns, Health Director, Halifax County Health Department, and Alisa Leonard, Director of Nursing, Cleveland County Health Department.

 

As part of the “Finance, Administration, Management Support, & Internet Technology Support” segment, Debbie Widener, Senior Training and Implementation Specialist, Patagonia Health will be presenting once again. Her presentation entitled “Managing the Accounts Receivable in Public Health” will be held on Thursday, September 18th from 1:30 – 3:00 pm in the DeRosset Room and will cover:

  • Defining rules for successful “incident to” billing.
  • Instruction on valuable Medicaid, Medicare and third-party billing resources.
  • Overcoming obstacles for accounts receivable in Public Health Billing practices.
  • Specific billing guidance for North Carolina Public Health maximum reimbursement in public health.
