The weekend also serves as a lead-in to the second annual NC DataPalooza, hosted by HQ Raleigh and Forward Impact. The 54-hour sprint officially kicks off the team business competition, which lasts from May to August.

Last year, HQ Raleigh (formerly HUB Raleigh) and Forward Impact brought the nation’s first-ever regional DataPalooza event to the Triangle, with the goal of transforming the area into a center for open data, collaboration and entrepreneurial innovation. The open data is used to develop applications and solutions that catalyze positive community and economic impact.
